Stitching Blue was created in 2006 in order to declutter my home after the children had moved out, and to be able to sell some of my craft items.

Many items had been left behind which they did not want, some new, and some in excellent condition.  I  began selling them on ebay, which was good for a while, then the situation changed and I was just paying out for the shop, but not getting much sales. 

On my site I have some new, and also  good quality clothing, gifts which have never been used, books, videos, cds, and many other items. Some children clothing and toys, books, and puzzles, all in very good condition.

 One day while I was watching the News, there was an item about "land fill sites", and the ways in which we can all help to change our attitudes about throwing away things, and trying to recycle them.  I was enthused by  the programme, and thought of  ways in which I could use my old sheetings, and curtains. Any used fabrics such as skirtings, shirtings,table cloths, everything can be used, some are easier than others, but one can be very  creative. I then began turning  these into Recycled Rugs, which excited many people. I sold quite a few on the then ebay shop. I had fantastic feedbacks from all buyers, who was pleased  with their purchases.

 I also like making special events cards, fancy decoupage, and many others.  I enjoy combining sewing with my paper crafting.

Very soon I will be placing some  cross stitch projects, and crochet items. I have made crochet collars for dresses and tops for a very  stylish effect.

I have knitted and crochetted dolls dresses, and various garments which I had  made over the years, which will also be coming on later.

In my collection there are also babies  and  children `s jackets, cardigans, sun suits, and tops.  These are all hand knitted by myself over the years. I have knitted and sewn for my family throughout the years, and will be selling many of the patterns for knitting and sewing. I have quite a collection, so if you are looking for a particular pattern, send me an email and I will try to see if its in my collections.  There are also toy making patterns.  So, keep visiting to see whats new on.
